Even though it’s still hot outside and August isn’t even upon us, I can’t help but be excited for fall shopping. Fall is my favourite season, and one that I always shop for early. It’s like I am planning a ‘back-to-school’ wardrobe, even though my undergraduate days are behind me. Sumptuous suedes, luxurious leathers, and denim to die for … this is the reason why I am already starting to dream up my fall wardrobe and the purchases I am going to make.
To get a head start on that I am taking advantage of this Buytopia sale available all across Canada (Thanks for the tip Charming Media) where you can get $25 for $50 worth of purchases at Heels.com or $50 for $100 for purchases. That is a great value to get some pres-season shoes!
I have compiled a short list of what shoes I am going to get but this deal runs out Monday, July 29 at 8 AM so I must act fast. Help me decide what shoes to buy …
Although I would normally opt for this colour in the spring, I think that they would lend themselves as a perfect transition boot. I could even start wearing them right away with denim shorts and pretend I am at the Calgary Stampede and stomp all over these Toronto streets. When it gets a little cooler, they will look great paired with a floral print dress and a beige cardigan. In fact these are my favourite so far since I can take advantage of them asap.
These studded black booties have stolen a little piece of my heart. They are perfectly adorable and I can see myself wearing them casually with skinny jeans and cotton tops and pairing it with short shorts for a night out on the town. Meow.
These boots are probably the most “me”. Black leather with gold details, simple and chic. They are perfect for casual dinners and could be paired with skinny jeans and a silk blouse for a dressier look. The 4 inch heel might keep me away from wearing it during the day though.
These boots are pretty tough. I did buy a pair of Nine West boots last year that are winterized and they are very similar. But these are brown, and have more use to me in fall than the boots I bought last year. Kind of a bad ass look.
The most expensive pair and thus the one that I am lusting after most. But they do come down to $175, which is a steal for a pair of Frye boots. Frye boots are timeless, wear well and I can almost guarantee that I’d have these boots for the next five years at least. Plus they are only a 2.5 inch block heel so they could take me all over the city both day and night.
P.S. The results were all in favour of the Frye ‘Justine boots (last pair) so I went ahead and took advantage of the Buytopia sale and got enough credits to seal the deal!
