Dirty Hair Halo

Once upon a time I was an aspiring fashion stylist. I started back in Vancouver, but it ended up leading me to pursuing a degree in Professional Writing. I started and stopped a few times in Toronto since I have been back but it's hard to pursue while you are in school full-time (and don't have a trust fund). Anyhow, I have since reigned in my fashion whims for a more practical, austere writer's wardrobe.

I started reading Dirty Hair Halo's blog about a month ago. Every single time I am on her blog I am reminded of the inner fashion whore lover who is dying to be unleashed again. I will let her take reins once again when I graduate, for now I will just have to live through Dirty Hair Halo.

She is Indigenous with mixed heritage (Ojibwe, Filipino and French). How lovely is she and cute in all of her outfits? I particularly love her use of faux fur, fringed boots, and various other Native nods that she has when making her style blogs. Dirty Hair Halo's blog inspires me to get dressed up again and make fashion fun. I hope you love her blog and her style too.

  1. Lisa-

Thanks for this feature. It's nice to see such a thoughtful and beautifully composed post(those come few and far between with blogger these days), and I'm truly flattered.

I'll put a link back on blog so readers can see it!
