And there it was

 

This venture will have me going places.

Today I had a pivotal moment. I was driving along thinking of my blog (yes I know, a tad weird) and then I had an idea. A big idea. And I was totally washed with a sense of relief and direction all at the same time. All of a sudden I felt the sudden urge to sob. My idea was so big and so vast and made so much sense for my life's purpose that I almost couldn't believe that it could be true. That it could really happen.

And yes it will happen. I now have a solid direction for my life after graduation. Now I don't want to give away too many details just yet but I have figured out a way to create the lifestyle that I want, to meet the people that I want to meet, to indulge my vast array of interests and quests for knowledge, and service others. I will be able to travel frequently, attend film festivals, cultural events, art exhibits and maintain a solid base in Toronto (I really do love this city except for the winters). I will be able to travel south during the winter, write frequently, and create economic opportunities for others. And if the Creator desires for me to act, then I will have the freedom and flexibility to be able to do that as well.

I am so ecstatic for my bright future. It has made these years of hard work (Fashion Communications at Ryerson University, Fashion Arts Diploma, Professional Writing at York University) all pay off to carve out my career, my way. It was my lightbulb moment (thanks Oprah).

So now I breathe and I plan and I strategize to organize myself so I am ready to tackle this new venture of mine once I graduate from school (projected date: April 2010). Stay tuned.
