El Perro del Mar

Yesterday R (aka bf) came home with a new CD (courtesy of Stephanie from Outside Music), one of his perks of being a DJ. Now he is a world music DJ, so most of his new music doesn't always get me excited. But this was El Perro del Mar's second album, Love is not Pop, and he was hopeful. The last one was okay but the only song I became obsessed with was "Inner Island."

I listened to it in my car en route to York U (aka boonies) and was totally feeling it. Right off the bat I had a new favorite song, "Better Love." Okay obsessed, I was listening to it all day and this album is growing on me and is sure to be on fast repeat on my iTunes playlist.
