Beauty Baby!

My girlfriend lent me this book 'Confessions of a Beauty Addict' noting that it would be perfect for me being that I am a writer, love beauty, and was interning at a fashion magazine. Well little did she know that she had started to create a monster.

Of course I love beauty, and have been avidly reading beauty in magazines since I was too little to understand the advice. Wrinkle cream at 11 years old? But when I started reading this book I was hooked, I want to write more about beauty and have more beauty around me at all times. Indulge, indulge, indulge! So I started doing some more beauty-slanted pieces for my freelance writing gig and now I want to write more here too.

So I loved Nadine Haobsh's writing style and take. She is the infamous beauty blogger who was writing anonymously telling all the juicy behind-the-scenes stories of a magazine beauty editor in NYC and was revealed by the New York Post.

So I quickly ordered a copy of her other book 'Beauty Confidential: The no preaching, no lies, advice-you'll-actually-use guide to looking your best' online at my local library. What I didn't expect is for me to devour the book in two days and post-it note flag it so much that I deemed it hopeless and will now be buying the book as a resource guide.

There are so many great suggestions of what products to buy and how to use them, I have made it my personal mission to try and test them all and then compare to other beauty products so that I too may enjoy in all the fun.
