Luscious Lashes

Is that your phone? No it's my mascara. Vibrating mascara wands are very hot these days with the L'Oreal Oscillation, Estee Lauder's TurboLash and the Maybelline Pulse Perfection.

So I got a special invite via Matchstick to test it out. Of course I buzzed at the chance but some late deliveries and confusion got me a little behind in the game.

At first, I found the mascara freaked me out a little bit (in an exciting way) because of it's vibrating wand, but it is quite minimal so I got used to that really quick. I think that this mascara lengthens for show-stopping lashes and it's clumps are pretty minimal (a quick run over with the Tweezerman eyelash comb can fix that). This is the go-to mascara for a nice dinner or cocktails with friends (I wore mine last night to a dinner and concert on the Harbourfront). Lengthening and lightly thickening with minimal clumps.

  1. I love that mascara. I gave a way a few from the big box but kept a couple for me. I think it's awesome and not just 'cause it vibrates. haha

  2. Nice. I use a vibrating Gillette Fusion Razor. But I can't tell ya if it's any better than a regular razor. I think the vibrating just adds a little something to the product like touch screen cell phones which give you a little vibration in response to a touch of the screen. As for seeing your results, I have no opinion since I don't know anythin' about mascara except that it looks good.

  3. Maybe I should get it... mascara is about the only makeup I use these days!

I was disappointed with my last one, which claimed to be waterproof.

Will Shady - It is hard to tell whether the vibrating really works but it is totally more fun anyhow - probably like your razor! Thanks for checking in :)

  5. Ah! I've been wanting to try this, but truthfully, am completely scared. If it works well, I might try it. Glad to hear some feedback on the matter :)

  6. Courtney - yes try it! It's so fun and it is a more accessible version of the oscillating mascara realm :).
