Lately I have been thinking of cutting my hair. It is long and really just needs a trim, but I have found myself fantasizing of a shorter (read: shoulder length) hair cut. Until I saw this photo from Sartorialist. Decision made. Just a trim for this one, as soon as my lovely stylist Rachelle White Wind gets herself back to Toronto ...

hehe, many girls/women seem to think about cutting their hair lately. I actually did it...I'm bald now! But I can see why you wouldn't...the hair indeed looks lovely in the photo above.
I'm going for a haircut today! Getting rid of my bangs...had them for 17 years and I'm sick of them.
It's always been photos of Adoesha (you know who I'm talking about?) that make me want super long hair. That and photos of myself from when I had waist length hair a few years ago. Haha.
Funny thing, I found out I usually change hairstyle depending on my mood. Long hair is for downtimes, and I wear my hair short when I feel confident and optimistic. I had long hair for a couple of (confusing) years, but since 2007 I'm back to short... and I like it.
Zhu- I totally agree on the short for confident, for me that is definitely the vibe I am going for. Short hair is also one of renewal. In Native culture one usually cuts their hair to signify loss. I have found that after a break-up I would cut my hair. Not the case now, just needing an uplifting change.
Sammi- Had to look up Adoesha, but wow that is some crazy long hair!
Kavisolo - yeah on hair cuts!
Yeemoonyah - I saw the pic of the new do! Wow, that was a brave move for sure you had some lovely locks. But I think it is as Zhu said, the connection to hair comes and goes with mood ... I am always changing my mood, but not always my hair :P.
Totally hot. I love your hair. Tres gorgeous.
Casie - you silly bean, it's not me ... but thanks for thinking it was :) uber-compliment - she is a Sartorialist pic(k).
