Last night I went to The Drake Hotel for the NXNE kick off partay with a great group of girls. We were supposed to be 'on the list' but we weren't but it was okay we got in bypassed the lineup and got in free (yeah). Then we were told that downstairs was at capacity and we couldn't go downstairs were Lioness was playing. Boo!

So we headed up to the patio where I ran into felllow Top Twelve Toronto Bloggers Casie Stewart (but forgot to take a photo) and Sass from Zucket. It was a blog extravaganza. I was for some reason amazed at the artist who had to work to get his Muskoka-esque mural done while we all partied below.

We finally got bored and made it our mission to get in downstairs. There was a huge lineup and we were getting irratated and I was ready to bail since it was past midnight and I had an audition in the early AM.

But wait I still had two drink tickets (thanks to Jen's friend) and we just had to get in immediately so we went to the washroom. And ran into Meredith from Oh Mistletoe on the way there - Top Twelve bloggers unite! After coming out from the bathroom we pretended we were already in and then got in right away. Yeah!

Then we drank, danced and watched Woodhands. After they wrapped I decided that I better get my cute self to bed since I was up and out way past my bedtime and had to get my 'beauty sleep.'
