Starting this Saturday, June 27, Toronto's McMichael Gallery will be hosting the exhibit "Challenging Traditions: Contemporary First Nations Art of the Northwest Coast." The exhibit features modern Northwest Coast Native artists that were all celebrated in the printing of of Ian M. Thom's recently released book of the same title. Over forty artists will be celebrated in this exhibit and it runs until September 20 2009.
